Brush, Comb, & Nail Trimmers

Farmina N&D Ancestral Grain Lamb & Blueberry Recipe Puppy Mini Dry Dog Food is what we now feed our puppies and Momma dogs while they are nursing their puppies at our home. We love to have a lamb option, and the puppies love it! We also feed Farmina to most of our Mommas and Daddy dogs (or Life’s Abundance.) They sell this in many high-end pet stores and on Chewy.com. Life’s Abundance All Life Stages food. It is made fresh from the best cuts of chicken and ingredients such as probiotics and prebiotics but also does not have yucky fillers like corn. They make it fresh and deliver it straight to their customers - not sitting on dog food store shelves for months. Another thing we love is that it has never had a recall. Dog Chews
To satisfy that drive to chew! Super important to give these when the puppy is looking for something to chew to set up for success. I also love the Kong toys and durable toys.

Digestion
If your pup ever eats something he isn’t supposed to or has softer stools than wanted, adding dry pumpkin powder (Firm Up) to their food helps tremendously. I always keep this on hand. I recommend doubling the dose on the bag.

These vitamins boost immune systems, improve organ function, promote healthy skin and coat, healthy eyes and ears, etc. We give all our dogs and Momma dogs these daily tablets and highly recommend them for all our doggies to continue right when they arrive home to continue to boost the immune system before shots have been completed to ward off disease but also just to keep optimum health throughout life. Shampoo
For beautiful smelling coat and bath mist. I particularly love these - it is all natural and mild but smells amazing!
For white dogs to stay white, I love this shampoo. If a dog has white paws, I will just use this shampoo on the paws and let it stay in for about 5-10 minutes.

Flea/Tick Prevention
We recommend when the puppy first comes home, you get her/him on Frontline Plus, or I recommend the Sorresto collar, which lasts 8 months. I don't recommend any oral medicines for this, as many have been found to cause seizures or other problematic side effects.

Clearly Loved Pets has a wonderful pen (we love ours). I use this pen when I cannot keep an eye on my puppy (shower, cooking dinner, making phone call). It is wonderful, and we get so many compliments on it.

Safety Car Harness
This harness pulls double duty as both an excellent everyday harness and a car safety harness, keeping your pup safe on rides to the dog park. This set includes the Clickit Sport Dog Harness, S-CLIP, and Buckle Shield.

Leashes
I like these, and they have a couple of colors; also, a nice leather one is awesome. A combination of polyester webbing and high-quality genuine leather, Snap hook, and hardware - chromed zinc alloy metal, Gift box package., *Usage of natural leather might result in color variations, slight scratches, and/or discoloration marks.
A thin leather leash is my favorite! There are multiple great brands as well as shops on Etsy selling them. Leather is really nice for training and just everyday use!

Heart Guard Plus
We buy this through the vet or order online after I get a prescription from the vet. This is given monthly. When the puppy first comes home, set up a vet visit asap and get a prescription started for this.

Harness
I recommend the Freedom harness or the Petsafe 3 in 1 harness. The puppy would be an XS when going home and Small as an adult, most likely, as it’s supposed to fit real snugly so it cannot fall off and the puppy gets out of it. We use this for going for walks so the puppy doesn’t pull on the neck and to learn to walk with a loose lead.

Treats
Good behavior should be rewarded, but often training treats are empty-calorie treats with no nutritive value and include undesirable ingredients. At Life's Abundance, we strongly believe that you should only feed treats that can help to support overall health. Stella and Chewy Freeze Dried snacks - when first coming home and early puppyhood, you can break these into lots of small treats.
